|Subject||[greenstone-users] Greenstone on Windows Server 2003 & IIS 6.0|
After spending quite some time trying to get GSDL to function on a Windows Server 2003 machine running IIS 6.0, I finally discovered that, when library.exe was called, it created an empty gsdlconf.cfg file in the %GSDLHOME% directory. It then tried to use this configuration file to run GSDL. Of course, there were no settings so I received an error every time it ran. After I moved the real gsdlconf.cfg file from the bin directory into the %GSDLHOME% directory, everything worked.
I have no idea why this happened or why it worked but there you go.
