If that path doesn't work, then GLI won't. You should make that work as
first priority. (Note: I'm not familiary with IIS6 GSDL installation, but
I will try to help anyway)

Firstly, did you check (edit with notepad gliserver.pl) and see that the
perl path is correct? i.e. "#!C:\Program
Files\Greenstone\bin\windows\perl\bin\perl -w" (you could run C:\Program
Files\Greenstone\bin\windows\perl\bin\perl -w in a cmd window and see what
happens)

Second, is IIS configured OK?
