Subject [greenstone-users] Unix compile error for OS X Server
Hi folks, I am trying to install Greenstone to see if it will work for
our organization. Since I want it to run from one of our servers, I'm
installing the Unix package but of course I can't use the Linux
binaries.

I am attempting to compile Greenstone on OS X Server (Jaguar) using the
Unix source package (gsdl-2.50-unix.tar.gz.) I have replaced the
isis-gdl files as instructed for gcc 3.x but isis-gdl still fails.

Suggestions would be much appreciated. Is there anyone running the Unix
code on OS X? I'm not using the precompiled package because I work on
the box remotely and I'd like to do it all through the command line.
