Subject [greenstone-users] Streaming Video file
Hi,

I am facing a problem with the collection involving
video files. I followed the relevant documentation on
developing video collections using greenstone software
and everything seems to be working OK except that the
hyperlink to the video file e.g.
ums:\\TCP:localhost:5119\videofiles\smartlittlebird.wmv
is having http appended to it and the result is a File
not found error. To avoid this problem I configured
the HTMLPlugin with the no_links option and it works
fine but when I search for any video file and click on
the same hyperlink the link is broken and the result
is a "unknown resource" error. The URL appears as
ums:\TCP:localhost........

I am not sure if somebody from the user community
faced similar problem and have got around the same.
Kindly request you to share any information that would
be useful in resolving this. Details of the software
that I am using for my prototype is

Verion - 2.73
OS - Windows XP
Local Library
UMS and Streaming Media Player configured
Virtual Folder created on the same system
Collection involving the smartlittlebird.html file
created

Any help will greatly be appreciated.
