HTTP, SOAP for web services, TCP-IP for Z39.50 and video collections. I
don't know that it supports FTP or HTTPS.

I don't quite understand the question.
Do you mean using remote GLI to upload documents to your own existing
Greenstone collection hosted on the web? (You can similarly add new
collections to your Greenstone Digital Library that's already on the
web.) You can do so remotely if you set up your Greenstone server as a
Remote Greenstone Server and use the client GLI tool. See

There is also a tool called the Depositor. I have only heard of it, but
there's a wiki page on it, please see the following page to see whether
it is relevant to your question.
