| Subject | [greenstone-users] Image Magick not installed when using gli-client |
| Hello, I have installed greenstone 2.81 on a windows 2003 server. I can create and build collections using the GLI locally. But when i try to build collections from a client (i'm using windows xp), the client-gli cannot detect imagemagick. I have configured my installation of greenstone for remote building as stated in http://wiki.greenstone.org/wiki/index.php/Remote_Greenstone.
□ I can build collections remotely if no imageconversion is required, i.e. pdfplugin -convert_to html but when i try to use pdfplugin -convert_to pagedimg_jpg, I got the message: □ import.pl> perl -S import.pl -gli -language "en" aquafarm -collectdir "C:\Program Files\Greenstone\collect" 2>&1□ import.pl> WARNING: None of -removeold, -keepold or -incremental were specified, defaulting to -removeold. Current contents of archives directory will be deleted. import.pl> ImageConverter: Image conversion not available ( Image Magick not installed) import.pl> ImageConverter: Image conversion not available ( Image Magick not installed)... □ I tried to install imagemagick on the client computer and included imagemagick directory in the PATH environment variable but still no luck. □ As i've said, i can build collections without problems if I'm on the windows 2003 server and using gli locally. I just want to build collections remotely so i don't have to go ther windows 2003 server physically or resort to using remote desktop which will defeat my purpose of configuring my greenstone for remote building. Hoping for a positive response and thank you in advance. □ Best regards, Elvi Nemiz Info. Asst. SEAFDEC/AQD Library
