Subject [greenstone-users] Installation of GSDL
Dear Sir
I am Librarian of  G.V.P. College of Engineering, Visakhpatnam, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA. I am facing problem in Networking of greenstone software. I could successfully install the Local library version of GSDL. But now I want to install web version, I could not able to install properly. I am unable to build collection. I followed the procedure of installation as under.
 
1. Installed JAVA 2 SDK
2. Installed Apache 2.0.54
3. Installed tomcat 5 and mod_jk2
 
4. After installation of Apache 2.0.54 run tomcat
 
5. Stop Apache 2
6. Installed GSDL web version from CD
7. There I copied 13 lines up to <Directory>
8. And pasted in httpd  in Apache \ conf \ httpd After script Aliace
9. Saved it
10. Started Apache 2
 
Here I am attaching the note pad where I edited the text and also the error report. Pl guide me in installation of GSDL.
