Check your collect.cfg file carefully. If there is another
line after that one that says
collectionmeta .document:text "text"
then that is the default for any language that doesn't have its
own entry in the file. Try something like:

# default for all languages
collectionmeta .document:text "ข้อความ"
# overridden if language is explicitly set to "en" (english)
collectionmeta .document:text [l=en] "text"


Also, remember that the "collectionmeta" metadata is stored in
at build time, not run time. So if you change these then they
won't take effect until the next time you rebuild the collection.
(Although you don't need to re-import the data).

Only the format strings are read in each time at run time.
