Yes, you need to rebuild. Indexes are created at build time.

Try removing or commenting out (with a #) any lines in your collect.cfg
starting with "indexes", "levels", or "buildtype"

   Okay, commented out:

      #buildtype mgpp
      #indexes document:text document:Title document:Source
      #levels document

Didn't work. Do I need to rebuild after making the changes perhaps?

You might have chosen to modify the navigation bar, but even if you did,
and removed the search link from the navigation bar, the user could
still get to your search page and search on the built indexes by typing
the relevent link into their browser.

Heh heh. More power to 'em. There's not much to search on, but "whatever floats their boat". ;)

Hope this helps,

Thanks for your time and help, Richard. :)

Richard.
