Hi Diego,
I recommand you do do the following:
Build the collection in e:\gsdl\collect\tucuman\building
Copy all directory/files (except "import") from c:\program files\gsdl\collect\tucuman to e:\gsdl\collect\tucuman.
copy c:\program files\gsdl\* to e:\gsdl except the following folders:
- bin
- cgi-bin
- collect
- docs
- gli
- lib
- packages
- perllib
- src
locate "library.exe" or "server.exe" and "gsdlsite.cfg" (not from cgi-bin) and copy them to e:\gsdl
modify gsdlsite.cfg so that all the paths point to e:\gsdl instead to c:\program files\gsdl
A more easy way will be to switch import with building directory
so "e:\import" and the building will be in "c:\program files\gsdl\collect\tucuman\building"
Best regards,
Emanuel Dejanu

Subject: [greenstone-devel] Mega test !!!

Hi list, I need to test Greenstone with one million pages using PagedImgPlug, so I have the following scenario:
- a windows xp machine with 3 disks
- greenstone installed on c:\program files\gsdl
- a collection named "tucuman" on c:\program files\gsdl\collect\tucuman
- an import dir in c:\program files\gsdl\collect\tucuman\import
- an archive dir in d:\archives
- a building folder in e:\building
I build the collection using command line, so the import process is:
"perl -S -archivedir d:\archives -verbosity 0 tucuman"
and the build process is:
"perl -S -builddir e:\building -archivedir d:\archives -verbosity 1 tucuman"
This works ok.
The question is that when I load Greenstone, it tries to read indexes from "c:\program files\gsdl\collect\tucuman\index". Where do I have to "tell" greenstone that it has to read indexes from "e:\index"?
Thanks a lot.
