Hi Irene,

Yes, the C++ source code can be compiled on Windows, but it requires a suitable compiler. What C++ compiler are you using? If you are using Microsoft Visual C++ then you shouldn't need the unistd.h file. If you are using the GNU C Compiler then the unistd.h file comes with Cygwin.
