Hi Anson,

The "Write CD/DVD image" functionality is disabled when using the
client/applet versions of the GLI (it is only available in the
stand-alone version). It was not part of the original specifications for
this functionality and we haven't had time to add it since.

I have added a "Missing functionality" section to the
http://www.cs.waikato.ac.nz/~mdewsnip/greenstone/west-yorkshire/remote-greenstone.html
page to document the bits of functionality that aren't available when
using a remote Greenstone. Hopefully we'll have time to do these for the
next release.
