If you don't want any of the buttons at all, you can put
format DocumentButtons ""
in the collect.cfg file.

greenstone uses an import document's hash as its unique
identifier. If a document changes, its hash will change, and the
new version will be added. You can't easily delete
documents from a greenstone collection, so you might need to delete
the archives directory and rebuild from all the import documents.
Don't forget that "the Collector" (the web front-end to building)
removes the import directory after indexing.

I don't think you can do this on a per-collection basis. You
could re-scale your icon(s).
