Hi Rogelio,

You may be running a version of Visual C++ 6.0 that is slightly broken.
People have encountered a similar problem in the past to the one you are
currently experiencing, you can search the greenstone users mailing list
archive for this.

The solution was that you might have to install visual studio service
pack 5.
