Subject [greenstone-devel] mkcol.pl not found

I'm running Greenstone 2.53 on Fedora Core 3 (compiled with SDK - j2sdk1.4.2_04).
gs is installed in /usr/local/gsdl
When I'm running the librarian interface I can't seem to create a new collection....it bombs out with an error message: "An error has occurred and the collection could not be created"

I get a java.io.IOException: mkcol.pl: not found
I've moved this mkcol.pl script all over the place (into the collect directory, the gsdl home directory, the script directory) but I still get the exception.

Initially I was unable to run gli because of jdk1.5. I've set my jdk to point to j2sdk1.4.2_04, ran the clean.sh and then ran the makegli.sh...after setting the jdk I was able to run the gli.

Any suggestions?

Regards and Thanks!
