Last week our Greenstone Digital Library (http://ibdigital.uib.es
<http://ibdigital.uib.es/> ) was approved as a valig OAI contributor by
OAISTER.

I would like to know if there is an automated way to generate the permanent
URL of each document, in a collection, and to assign this value to the
dc.Identifier.

I have seen that the metadata ex.URL has a similar function.

The reason is that when providing our metadata via OAI we would like that
the OAI harverters get, for each one of our records, the URL of the
corresponding document as the value of the dc.Identifier metadata.

I have tought that in the etc>oai.cfg document one way should be to write
this line

oaimapping ex.URL oai_dc.Identifier

Do you think this is the correct way? Is there any other way to do this?
