I have installed greenstone on both linux and OSX platforms. I am trying the
web based collector. I am able to build a collection if the documents reside
on the same machine as the greenstone collector. However, what I want to do is
to collect and index documents from a web site. I have made sure that the
documents are reachable through a straight URL on a browser. But always the
collector says:

"One or more of the input sources you specified is unavailable (marked X
below)."

It does not even work if I use the http:// method to refer to even the documents
that are on the Greenstone machine.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.
