Hi Dan Wright,

That problem looks familiar as I also encountered it a couple of days
back. It had to do with some changes that were committed to the source
repository partially and needed further adjustments to work with remote
GLI. These changes have now been added back in and things seemed to work
for me thereafter.

You will need to update your source snapshot, to get the necessary
changes. If you got your source version of Greenstone 2 from SVN, then
you can just update the cgi-bin/gsdlCGI.pm file.

If you downloaded one of the near-daily work in progress binaries and
source releases from greenstone.org/caveat-emptor, then you can either
grab the latest version of the same, or you might want to just update
the affected file by grabbing it from

I think this may solve your problem, but do write back if it doesn't.
