| Subject | [greenstone-users] Export to a Windows selfinstaller CD. | |
|
Hi lists: I am a newbie to greenstone. After download glp-2.52-linux The language pack gsdl-2.52-export.zip The CD export package gsdl-2.52-unix.tar.gz The GreenStone Core Package I installed it on my Gentoo box follow the Install-en.pdf(The installation Guide). During the installation, i choose the binary package instead of compiling it manually to save time. After finished the installation, everything works fine. Then i try the export CD function of greenstone. It works smoothly. Then i use the follow command to burn a CD: # mkisofs -V GreenStone -r -o cd.iso <exported dir> # cdrecord -v speed=8 dev=ATAPI:0,0,0 cd.iso I use the CD to install GreenStone on a Windows 2000 box. When i want to access the greenstone library after installation, the follow messages occured: Could not found the server.exe. Then i copy the server.exe from the cd to the installation directory manually. Then run the server.exe. Another error message appeared(See the attachment) I have tried to export CD via gli interface. But after install in the windows machine, the error which describe in the attachment appeared again. I have few knowledges about this, cound someone pick me up? Thanks in advance! Wang Penghui
