Hi Jonah

I just downloaded GSDL2.80 and tried the remote GLI. Collections can be
opened and created remotely without any problems. (Both server and client
are running on a Windows platform) I think you probably can use a debug
option to check whether any other errors occurred before that.

If Client-GLI is running on Windows, the command will be like:
client-gli.bat -debug

On Linux and Mac, it will be like
client-gli.sh -debug

Save the outputs into a file and send it to me. I can help you to look at it.

Regards
Quan
