Hello Nick,

I consulted John Thompson regarding your question, and he explained how
you could try getting the usage.txt file generated and see if that ends
up producing the sort of results you want. He did warn that the
information it will end up containing may be rather raw and that perhaps
it may not be exactly what you want, but that it could be worth a try.

Therefore, to try out his suggestion:

1. Make sure the Greenstone server is stopped.

2. Open up your Greenstone installation's etc/main.cfg in a text editor.

3. Go down to the line
logcgiargs false

and change it to
logcgiargs true

4. Save the file and close it.

5. Run the Greenstone server again. The above changes should generate
the file etc/usage.txt in your Greenstone installation folder upon
running the server. However, you need to make sure that the file does
indeed get generated: that the web server has sufficient permissions to
generate the file and write to it.
