Hi Suthanya,

I was informed by another person that that file does not actually work. I
had written it in a hurry to show some other developer here the basics of
how to write web services.

I would suggest you follow the instructions in
-
http://trac.greenstone.org/browser/other-projects/trunk/gs3-webservices-democlient/docs/HowToFiles/6WritingAWebServiceClient.html?format=raw
and
-
http://trac.greenstone.org/browser/other-projects/trunk/gs3-webservices-democlient/docs/HowToFiles/7BasicsOfWritingWebServices.html?format=raw
which are about how to write a client for the existing QBRSOAPServices web
services and how to write a very simple web service class.

These two files are also contained in the demo-client zip file you
downloaded. You can find them in the folder docs/HowToFiles, where they
are called
7BasicsOfWritingWebServices.html and
6WritingAWebServiceClient.html and
Finally, you may also want to read
5ExposingYourGS3WebServicesOnGS3Server.html

I know they are not numbered very intuitively, but they happen to be in
the order I wrote them.

Good luck,
Anupama
