Hi Dave,

Sorry about the slow reply to this.

The exporting is done by the "exportcol.pl" Perl script in the bin/script
folder of Greenstone. I don't know what your Perl is like, but the script is
fairly simple (basically it just copies files from various places in the
Greenstone installation to a folder in the "tmp" directory). Unfortunately, it
doesn't copy the collection-specific macros folder, although it probably
should. It does copy the main "macros" folder, however, so you could put your
modified macrofiles in there.

Alternatively, you could run exportcol.pl from the command-line (rather than
through the collector), and check what files are copied into the temporary
folder created. If some files are missing, you can add them into this
directory yourself.

Stefan Boddie brought up an important point: you will need to replace the
server.exe that comes with the export package with the latest version (in your
Greenstone folder). Do this before you try anything else.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Michael
