Hi,

I have just added a "-records_per_folder" option to
explode_metadata_database.pl. This puts the records from exploding a
metadata database into multiple subdirectories, which means that the GLI
should use less memory and edit the metadata more quickly.

You can download this updated version from
http://www.cs.waikato.ac.nz/~mdewsnip/greenstone/temp-2.70w/explode_metadata_database.pl.
Let me know if you have any problems with the new functionality.

Regards,

Michael
