We're trying to test the GLI as an applet and have
followed the instructions you've provided on the FAQ
sheet, but get the following error message when
running the makejar.sh :
Checking Javac: /usr/java/j2sdk1.4.2_05/bin/javac
Compiling the Greenstone Librarian Interface...
[root64;sul-dl-dlib2 gli]# ./makejar.sh
Assuming that Java code is freshly compiled...
com: No such file or directory
Error adding -C to jar archive!
This is on a Linux machine running SULinux 9
(basically Red Hat 9) with j2sdk1.4.2_05. We've tried
this on two machines both running the same OS and the
same errors arise.
It seems as though the jar file may be corrupted based
[dln@sul-dl-dlib2 lib]$ jar -xvf activation.jar
> > inflated: META-INF/MANIFEST.MF
> > inflated: META-INF/SUN_MICR.SF
> > inflated: META-INF/SUN_MICR.RSA
> > Error inflating file! (-3)
