Subject | Install fails...on RedHat 8.0.... |
Hi all,
I have a RedHat 8.0 box that I am trying to build Greenstone on, and after numerous attempts at installing the binary packages and then the import.pl failing complaining about Expat.so, etc., I resorted to installing and choosing the 'c' option.... GCC version is 3.2-7 as shipped with RH. Comilation seems to go relatively smoothly until the compilation of mgpp.... gcc -c -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I../../.. -I. -g -O2 -ansi -D__cplusplus
I downgraded to gcc 2.96-110 to see whether that made any difference, but
Please could someone give me a shout if they have seen this before.
