You should play with Greenstone 2.52. I'm not sure when a beta release
of Greenstone 3 will be available. You can serve Greenstone 2
collections using Greenstone 3 so it would be easy to switch systems
later on if you desired.

I suggest you export your Infobase as HTML, and build that into a
Greenstone 2 collection, and see if Greenstone provides the features you
require.
