The new 2.82rc release includes support for incremental building, and
GLI uses this too.
From GLI, select the "minimal rebuild" button when you are building the
collection.
From the command line, use the incremental-import.pl and
incremental-buildcol.pl scripts.
If you are using mg/mgpp only the import stage will be incremental.
Buildcol will have to process all the documents.
If you switch to Lucene, then the build stage will be incremental too.
Note, if you are using Windows and install 2.82rc into a path with
spaces (eg Program Files) please see
