While creating a collection of 15 Malayalam dummy documents with [dc.Title], [dc.Creator] and [dc.Date] as metadata ( for examining the use of Greenstone for creating an archive of Government orders in Malayalam), I found that the Malaylam data for dc.Title classifier doesn?t get displayed at all, while choosing it as the (dc.Title) classifier. But when I chose ex.Title as Classifier and used [dc.Title] in the format string, the dc.Title data in Malayalam was displayed.

But when I use dc.Title data in English there is no problem at all.

(The same problem occurred to me when I used version 2.81rc too). This appeared very curious.

The format string for the dc.Title classifier was as follows

If I use ex.Title in the format string for ex.Title, the data for ex.Title are displayed rightly.

Shall I do something for Malayalam enabling in GLI? The data now appears as boxes and cannot be read from it.
