Hi again,

- I've updated the HowTo documents index and the one that starts with 3,
and added a file on how to run FLI (starts with 8).
- However, to run FLI--which you'll need if you want to try putting
documents in your fedora repository and run the demo-client against
fedora--you'll need to update some files.
Get them from SVN:
- http://svn.greenstone.org/gsdl/trunk/bin/script/g2f-import.pl
-
http://svn.greenstone.org/gli/trunk/src/org/greenstone/gatherer/Gatherer.java
-
http://svn.greenstone.org/gli/trunk/src/org/greenstone/gatherer/gui/FedoraLogin.java

The last two are java files, meaning that you'll need to recompile GLI. To
do this, go into $GSDLHOME/gli and type:
./makegli.sh
./makejar.sh
And run either gli.sh or fli.sh as you need.
NOTE:
- I haven't yet committed my modified gli.sh which fli.sh uses and which
works for both greenstone 3 and greenstone 2.
- Therefore, if you plan on running fli.sh with Greenstone 3 (I just
checked and my demo-client does not work with GS2's generated fedoraMETS
docs for some reason, but it works with GS3), then you need to edit fli.sh
to launch gli4gs3.sh instead of gli.sh

Anupama
