|Hi Ju Sun,
I can□t really understand your problem. You are using a hierarchy
classifier?. Which metadata do you use to create the classifier?.
Please, can you send your format vlist statement?.
Smith, John (2 items) is extracted from [name] metadata?

Asunto: [greenstone-users] ver 2.0 - record display
I don't know if this was already addressed, but I have a problem of how my
records/documents are being displayed. A while back I was able to get
records to display in a bookshelf format if they had a common element - i.e.
name. So for example if John Smith had 2 records, there would be that
'bookshelf' icon to state there were more than one item found for this
particular person. But my problem is that the item that John Smith's name
appears on has other people's names on them as well. Basically we're
talking about 'reports', so there may be 20 other names attached to THAT
particular record. How do I get greenstone to display John Smith's name and
NOT whatever the first name that was entered (metadata) for that record?
example - In the Name Browse, the user looks for John Smith and sees the
[bookshelf icon] Smith, John (2 items) - clicks on the bookshelf to see:
Doe, Mark - Right, Jane K-10 p2
Report of Marriage License Issued
Frank, Thomas - Left, Mary K-12 p4
Report of Marriages
would like the records to display the following:
[bookshelf icon] Smith, John (2 items) - clicks on the bookshelf and see:
Smith, John - Doe, Jane K-10 p2 Report
of Marriage License Issued
Smith, John - Doe, Jane K-12 p4 Report
Any ideas or suggestions?
