this looks quite odd... did you install any perl DBI/DBD modules yourself,
or did that module come with the perl you've got?

That looks like it's either a bug in the module, or possibly a mismatch
in the versions (ie it was written for a different version of DBI or perl).

My linux distro doesn't even come with a DBD/ module, although
there is a DBI/ module.
