Hi

Have you looked at the customisation tutorial?
http://greenstone.sourceforge.net/wiki/gsdoc/tutorial/en/using_macro_files.htm

this goes through a few simple changes to the interface, and would be a
good place to start.

greenstone/macros/style.dm (and greenstone/images/style.css) is where
most of the global style is defined.

Regards,
Katherine
