If you use yourhome.dm you get a very simple home page with no collections
shown. If you revert back to using home.dm you will have links to the
collections automatically generated. These allow users to view and search
the collections, but not to edit them (I assume you mean the Collector
here).

If you want to modify the home page I'd recommend you start with home.dm
and modify that rather than using yourhome.dm.
