Hey Tomas,

If it's in the format statements (within the collect.cfg), it should
look something like this:

{If}{[MEATDATA1],[METADATA1],[METADATA2]}

Or, an alternative syntax allows you to check whether or not a piece
of metadata is equal to a string. For example this checks if
METADATA1 is equal to the text "Hello" and outputs METADATA2 if that
is the case, otherwise METADATA1:

{If}{[MEATDATA1] eq Hello,[METADATA2],[METADATA1]}

Cheers,
John Rowe

The if needs to be in braces, so try...

{if}{METADATA1,METADATA1,{if}{METADATA2,METADATA2}}

Since I've not tested it and I've not used an else I'm not 100% certain that
this is the way to do an else, but I hope it helps some.

graeme.

I've seen a couple of posts to the listserv in regard to importing secure
PDFs but am unable to configure the PDF plugin to read the files. I have a
fairly simple local installation running version 2.71. Any help with the
plugin configuration would be appreciated!

Hi,

I have a collection of PDF files that I am importing into greenstone
using the "complex" import option.

This is doing exactly what I want except I get an unwanted page saying
"introductory text" and the document title.

I managed to get rid of that page by removing a line in the PDF plugin
code, but it then it didn't pick up the title for the document.

Any suggestions?

I know some perl but am struggling to understand what the plugins are
doing most of the time...

and down here is a link *shops list* and when I click on that one,I want
to browse the shops which have metatdata name [malls] that include
value "center points". is it possible to do that ?
