Hello Robin,

I'm not sure, but first of all try to check java versions on your
machines.

#!/usr/bin/perl -w should be written in cgi-bin/gliserver.pl

I think the documentation at
http://greenstone.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Remote_Greenstone is quite good.

Maybe you should also try command line building.
