Subject [greenstone-users] odd behavior of demo collection
We compiled greenstone for solaris; as part of that
we had to download and install gdbm. that seemed to
go okay.
but when we go to access the demo collection page,
the search screen has the terms
_stx_
_stt_
_dtx_ in the drop down menu, and
when we search we get this error message:

warning: gdbm database
"/users/es287/greenstone/gsdl-2.52-unix/gsdl/collect/demo/index/text/demo.bdb"
does not exist
there are a bunch of these intermingled with:

Error: call to filter failed for collection in OIDtools::get_info (system
problem)
warning: gdbm database
"/users/es287/greenstone/gsdl-2.52-unix/gsdl/collect/demo/index/text/demo.bdb"
does not exist

Any clues as to what we have done wrong?
Thanks in advance:
Rick
