Subject [greenstone-users] guidance on relating audio files with text files
I've got text files and mp3 files of poems (I record children reading poems).

I would like to associate each poem's text file with the many mp3 files.

I read in the "Developer's Guide" that I can assign many mp3 files to each
poem's text file by feeding RecPlug a metadata.xml file that contains tags
such as these:

<Metadata name="Recordings" mode="accumulate">joey_Sonnet_5.mp3</Metadata>
<Metadata name="Recordings" mode="accumulate">sally_Sonnet_5.mp3</Metadata>
<Metadata name="Recordings" mode="accumulate">frank_Sonnet_5.mp3</Metadata>

But how will I get Greenstone to link each poem's text file to the many
mp3 files?

The metadata.xml file for each mp3 file will look something like this:

<Metadata name="Poem" mode="accumulate">Sonnet 5</Metadata>
<Metadata name="Performer" mode="accumulate">Sally</Metadata>
<Metadata name="Age">Nine</Metadata>
<Metadata name="School">Greenstone Elementary</Metadata>

I need Greenstone to display this metadata next to the link to the mp3 file.

Thank you,
Mike Johnson
