| Hi Diego
I tried to import and build the collection you had attached (In future
please send zip or tar files as they are easier to deal with than rar
files).
I had a couple of problems which may or may not be relevant to yours:
1. you had specified three pages in the .item file, but there were only
the files for one - this caused a lot of perl errors as the plugin
tried to process non-existant files. I copied the existing files
and renamed them to the expected names. Then it built fine.
2. The TIF files could not be displayed in the browser - you can add an
option to PagedImgPlug '-converttotype gif' to have it convert the images.
Note that the .item files can have a name eg 43.item. This way you can
have more than one in a directory.
Anyway, I don't know what has gone wrong with your collection cos it
works ok for me. Your config file and .item file look fine.
What are you using to build it - GLI, collector, command line? Try using
the command line, or GLI in expert mode (change using preferences) -
do you get any errors in the build?
Is it just when you try to search the collection that you get the error,
can you see the other pages eg Titles A-Z and the documents?
If its just the searching that doesn't work, have a look in the index
directory - do you get all three indexes created? stt, stx, dtx?
and does each one have the following files?
tifcol.i tifcol.ib1 tifcol.ib2 tifcol.ib3 tifcol.idb tifcol.tiw
tifcol.wa
I hope you can work out whats wrong
Regards,
Katherine Don
