I am using a field which only displays the year in which the photograph was taken. The mm and dd values are unknown.

If we make the browsing classifier a DateList it requires the mm and dd values to be included. If we use List, the HList containing hyperlinks which uses the first letter as an anchor uses the first digit of the year instead, rather than the four digits. In other words, it presents a 1 which hyperlinks to all photographs taken in a year which begins with the digit 1.

How can I resolve this? How can I get it to show all four digits?

Any assistance would be much appreciated.
