Hi all,

            I am doing Research and development on Greenstone, when I am building the collection with video (eg: wmv) and .wrf   files, those are processed by unknown plug-in. so that I am getting "? "Image (iunknown.gif in images folder of Greenstone) beside the file name in the user interface. Can't we change this to media player symbol or respective file images?

Please suggest me on this issue.

I am waiting for your reply.

Thanks and Regards,

Swathi

Hi Swathi,

The image is resolved through a macro in the file macros/base.dm in your greenstone home directory as follows:
/gsdl/web/images/iunknown.gif {/gsdl/web/images/iunknown.gif}

To change it to
media player symbol, create your own image, put it in the images directory (also under your greenstone home) and change the 'iunknown.gif' in the line above accordingly. Unfortunately, each time you are dealing with a collection of different sort, you will have to do this again.
