Subject [greenstone-users] Have there ever been changes to the Greenstone Archive file format in later GS vers.?
Howdy all,

I am trying to move a collection from Greenstone 2.?(circa 2004) to 2.81 on a remote linux server using the command line import/build process.

I am trying to buildcol.pl the collection in GS 2.81 using the Greenstone Archive files from the original collection, but the build process is not working. I am wondering, has the Greenstone Archive file format changed enough in the latest versions of Greenstone that this could impede/stop the collection building process? (Incidentally, the Greenstone Archive files I am working with were built outside GS from XML files using XSLT.)
