Subject [greenstone-devel] new database plugin
Hi everyone,
I've added a new plugin to greenstone for importing records from
databases, using perl's DBI (database-independent interface) modules.

This means you can import data from a postgres, ODBC or mysql database,
for example.

Download from http://www.greenstone.org/tmp/dbplug_files.zip and unzip
into the gsdlhome directory - it contains the plugin and a documented
sample config file to copy into the import directory. I've only
used it on a postgres database, so I'd like to hear if anyone
tries it one any other database type (whether it works or not :)
