The GLI can only display metadata added in the GLI, or using
metadata.xml files, or extracted by the building process. It cannot be
used to edit metadata contained in the documents themselves, and it
cannot display metadata from a bibliographic file or other similar file
eg oai record.
If you have downloaded the source documents along with the metadata
records, once you have built the collection you will be able to see that
metadata associated with the source docs. It will appear as extracted
metadata so you won't be able to change it, but you will be able to add
other metadata to be used instead of the extracted metadata.
If you want to edit the oai metadata, you should edit the oai records
I hope this helps,
