 Hi,

I believe that RecPlug handles the parsing of Metadata.xml files. If you need to modify it, it can be found in the following location:

gsdl/perllib/plugins/RecPlug.pm

Thank you.

I'm afraid I do not know the answer to your second question but I would suggest the solution that Stefan suggested in his email to the list yesterday (20th of December 2006) to pass the following text to the plugin that handles recursing through the directories - RecPlug:

 -input_encoding windows_1251

This solution did't help. :(

I believe to set the default language to Russian you edit (or create) the:

gsdl/collect/<collection name>/etc/collect.cfg

and put the following text at the end:

cgiarg  shortname=l argdefault=ru

As an explanation of the above code, it sets the default CGI argument language (l) to Russian (ru). This can be done for any CGI argument, such as collection name.

I shall try it.

Hi

What plugin does collect data to Extracted GreenStone Metadata (ex.)?

How can I say it that I have file names in windows-1251 encoded?

How can I set default language to RUSSIAN?
