| Hi,
This error is usually caused by the GLI being unable to parse the
collect.cfg file. Unfortunately this file is complex and hard to parse,
and editing it via the GLI can occasionally leave it in an inconsistant
state.
The usual things apply:
1. Check the other GLI window for exceptions.
2. Run gli.bat from a DOS prompt with the "-debug" argument.
3. What was the last change you made to your collection in the Design
pane? This is probably what has caused the error. The GLI keeps a backup
of your collect.cfg file (collect.bak) -- try restoring it to see if
this allows you to open the collection.
4. /Send us your collect.cfg file!
/
Once we work out what is causing the parse failure we can investigate
how to prevent this problem from happening again.
Regards,
Michael
