ok, here's a follow-up question.

A record in my metadata.xml now looks like this:

<FileSet>
<FileName>Gethin_1997.pdf</FileName>
<Description>
<dc.Identifier>41</dc.Identifier>
<Volume>36/3</Volume>
<Uploaded>Kellner</Uploaded>
<Year>1997</Year>
<ArticleTitle>Cosmology and meditation: from the Ag€€a-sutta to the
Mahāyāna</ArticleTitle>
<FileSource>Gescannt von Kellner</FileSource>
<Author>Rupert Gethin</Author>
<Pages>183-217</Pages>
<FileName>Gethin_1997.pdf</FileName>
<Contributed>Kellner</Contributed>
<Journal>History of Religions</Journal>
</Description>
</FileSet>

I assume something's wrong with the way I've added "dc.Identifier"
because import.pl chokes: "no dc.Identifier found, generating hash_id".

So what would be the right syntax for using a dc.Identifier in metadata.xml?

Thanks,

Birgit
