What version of Greenstone are you using? I can imagine that "U" might
have caused a problem in old versions of Greenstone, but we switched to
using "|" instead of "" to separate hierarchy values a while back. Try
using "|" instead of "" -- if it doesn't make a hierarchy correctly
then you will need to try a newer version of Greenstone.

>2. Adding other names to personalise your access points like Title, etc to other names. It does not give the same letter standards as the Title, Keywords, etc. If I add other titles, it gives you that but not bold and color like the other normal ones.

Do you mean you don't get images for the new classifiers on the
navigation bar? You can use this page:
http://www.cs.waikato.ac.nz/~mdewsnip/greenstone/make-classifier-images.html
to generate them.
