Subject Re: [greenstone-users] style:footer
I looked through my personal Greenstone customizing documentation and here's what I added to style.dm: (Looks like I kind of made my own footer.... sort of)

{

<style type="text/css">
#footer
{
background-color : #000000;
font-family : verdana;
font-size : 65%;
color : #ffffff;
}
</style>
}

{
<div id="footer">POWERed By <a href="http://www.greenstone.org">GREENstone</a></div>
</body>
</html>
}

See if this works for you. You can likely easily adapt it to your needs. (such as adding font-weight : normal; to #footer) Let me know if this works or if I misunderstood you.

Here's something that is a little obscure to me- maybe the listserv can
help. I've searched in style.css and several of the macros but can not find
where the footer is formatted so that I can remove the bold formatting. I
can add text to the footer, but can not *un-bold* the contents. I've also
tried </b> before the text, as well as <span
style="font-weight:normal;"></span> but with no success.

Can someone point me to the appropriate macro, or encoding to change this
setting?

Thanks!

Heather
