Hi

Does your exported CD contain the import or archive files? If the import
directory is there, you can open the collection in GLI and edit the
metadata. Then rebuild the collection in GLI.
If the archives folder is there, you can edit the metadata manually in
the doc.xml files. Then rebuild (but not reimport) the collection on the
command line.

If neither is there, then you could use db2txt to output the gdbm
database to a text file, edit the metadata in that, then use txt2db to
convert it back to the database. This changes the metadata that is
displayed. You won't be able to change the content of what has been
indexed for searching or browsing though.

Katherine
